About Your New Job As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a production team to achieve operational targets while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include: Leading, coaching, and developing a team of production operators.
Driving a strong culture of safety, quality, and food hygiene compliance.
Working closely with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Health & Safety teams.
Monitoring and improving shift performance against key KPIs.
Supporting training and development initiatives across the team.
Leading continuous improvement projects and driving operational excellence.
Investigating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
Managing shift administration, documentation, and payroll hours.
What Skills You Need Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or a similar environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational performance.
Flexibility to work within a shift-based environment.
