You will be responsible for the overall management of the creche, including staff supervision, curriculum development, and compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare management, a solid understanding of relevant government regulations, and a commitment to providing the best possible early years education.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the creche, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for children, staff, and parents.
Lead, manage, and support a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities in line with the curriculum.
Ensure compliance with all government regulations, standards, and quality assurance frameworks.
Manage government funding programs and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
Maintain and update records of children, including health, attendance, and developmental milestones.
Build positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating regularly about their child's progress and any concerns.
Handle administrative duties, including scheduling, budgeting, and staffing.
Promote a child-centered approach, respecting individual needs, and fostering an inclusive, engaging environment.
Ensure that all safeguarding and health and safety policies are adhered to.
Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent).
With a willingness to complete further education to level 7/8.
Proven experience in a childcare management or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of government funding programs and regulations (e.g., ECCE, NCS, Core funding, AIM).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to child welfare.
