Learn more about Target here.A Style Consultant is a team member who focuses on delivering an excellent guest experience, strong operations, and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and drive sales. The role involves keeping the sales floor well stocked, accurately priced, and visually appealing to enable quick and easy guest self-discovery.Responsibilities Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, inspirational and promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.Use store tools to understand sales and inventory, and to support guest needs.Sort freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.Set visual presentations and guides to support guest experience and sales.Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.Support price change processes with clearance merchandising and signing.Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests.Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service back to the sales floor as needed.Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU), and Drive-up (DU) while complying with applicable laws.Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping solve their needs; thank guests for shopping with Target.All other duties based on business needs.What We Are Looking For You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others, including team members.You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active role that requires teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving.You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times).Qualifications and Skills Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.Ability to communicate across devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.Effective communication skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established timeframes.Physical and Schedule Requirements Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.Climb ladders; lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions and be mobile for scheduled shift durations.Benefits Find competitive benefits from financial and education to well-being and beyond at Target benefits pages.
