This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a solid understanding of public works contracts to join a stable and growing contractor.
The successful candidate will be based on a Castlebar project for the next 23 years, providing long-term project continuity and the opportunity to further develop their commercial expertise within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities Assist in the commercial management of construction projects from commencement through to final account.
Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
Monitor project costs and assist with forecasting and financial reporting.
Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts.
Work closely with project managers and site teams to maintain strong cost control.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
Support senior commercial staff with project delivery and reporting.
Requirements Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Public Works Contracts is essential.
Experience working within a contractor environment.
Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational abilities.
Motivated individual looking to progress within a well-established contractor.
Package Salary: €50,000
- €60,000 DOE.
Full-time, permanent position.
