This role will suit a proactive and organised individual who can coordinate maintenance activities, manage resources, and act as the key link between engineering, production, and external contractors.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability and driving maintenance efficiency across the site.
Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule all planned and reactive maintenance activities on site Act as the main point of contact between maintenance, production, and other departments Manage and prioritise work orders, ensuring accurate planning and execution Work closely with engineering teams to allocate resources and ensure timely completion of tasks Schedule preventative and demand maintenance in line with production requirements Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, GMP, and site procedures Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history within the system Monitor KPIs relating to equipment reliability and maintenance performance Support shutdown planning and execution activities Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function Criteria Proven experience in a maintenance planning, coordination, or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of plant operations and maintenance systems Excellent organisational and communication skills Good level of IT literacy and experience with CMMS systems A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability Ability to lead, motivate, and engage teams effectively Reward Competitive salary circa €72,000 Opportunity to join a well-established, growing organisation with a strong reputation Career development within a large, multi-site operation Collaborative and supportive team environment At Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency we specialise in sourcing professionals for key industries and services.
