Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all engineering and setting-out activities on site.
Ensure works are constructed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
Review construction information and identify potential issues before works commence.
Assist in the management of technical queries and coordinate timely resolution with the design team.
Monitor construction activities to ensure quality standards and project requirements are achieved.
Maintain accurate site records including RFIs, drawings, surveys, inspections, and progress reports.
Promote and uphold a strong health and safety culture on site.
Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with statutory regulations, company procedures, and project-specific safety requirements.
Minimal setting out required Candidate Requirements: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in a Site Engineer or Senior Engineer role.
Experience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally involving refurbishment, extension, healthcare, education, commercial, or public sector developments.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
Good understanding of construction sequencing, quality control, and engineering best practices.
Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations, BCAR requirements, and health & safety legislation.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, surveying equipment, and common construction management software. xyswxtq
