This job will be a great fit for someone with strong food manufacturing/FMCG experience who has experience running a plant and leading management teams.
This is a highly strategic position which will involve ensuring preventative maintenance, Lean and continuous improvment measures are implemented and adhered to.
About the Position As Engineering Manager you will be leading a team of managers to ensure high performance and alignment across the plant.
Maintaining strong employee relations and partner with labour representatives to ensure smooth operational changes.
Ensuring high asset reliability to maximise uptime and reduce interruptions.
Leading the site's maintenance program and ensure repairs/operations are fully optimised.
Developing/ensuring a multi-year engineering plan and annual operating plan.
Implementing preventative maintenance principles, monitoring solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Any other duties as required to ensure a well run site.
Experience/Requirements For this Engineering Manager job, you will have previous experience in a similar position, ideally within food manufacturing/FMCG.
You will also have strong experience leading management teams and working in unionised environments. xyswxtq
Strong knowledge of maintenance, asset reliability, etc in manufacturing environments and either a trade qualification or relevant technical degree.
