This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bar professional to work in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment.
The successful candidate will support the bar team with drink service, customer interaction, and general bar operations, including the operation of draught systems and keg handling, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the event.
Location: Just outside Cashel, Co.
Tipperary Employment Type: Temporary (1 Day) July 4th Salary: €18 per hour Key Responsibilities: Serve drinks and bar snacks promptly and accurately to customers at the bar and tables.
Operate the till, handle cash and card payments, and issue receipts in line with procedures.
Set up, change, and monitor kegs and draft lines, ensuring quality and consistency of beverages.
Maintain bar hygiene, including cleaning surfaces, glassware, equipment, and floors throughout shifts.
Restock fridges, shelves, and bar supplies, ensuring products are rotated and presented correctly.
Take and relay customer orders clearly, answering basic queries about drinks and menu items.
Support the team during busy periods by prioritising tasks and assisting colleagues as needed.
Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines, monitoring customer behaviour and escalating concerns to senior staff.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in a bar, pub, or hospitality environment with direct customer service duties.
Confident cash handling skills, including using a till and reconciling payments.
Practical experience in food and beverage service, including serving and clearing.
Strong understanding of bar hygiene and cleaning standards in a hospitality setting.
Familiarity with keg and draft systems, including basic setup and troubleshooting.
Effective communication skills with customers and team members in a busy environment.
Ability to manage time and multitask under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Desirable Skills: Experience working in a high-volume bar or event environment.
