*URGENT* Advanced First Aider - Manitoba Wildfires - Must have AFA Certification

Overview
The Advanced First Aider plays a critical role in emergency situations, providing immediate care and support to individuals in need. This position requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. First Aiders are often the first point of contact for patients and are responsible for assessing their condition and delivering appropriate medical assistance until further help arrives.

Duties

• Per Diem offered at $40.00
• $360/per day
• Accommodation provided
• Assess patients' conditions and provide necessary first aid or medical care.
• Administer medications as required and ensure proper documentation of all treatments provided.
• Communicate effectively with emergency services, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient status.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology to accurately relay information.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist patients or transport them safely.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and ready for use in emergency situations.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in patient care.

Skills
