Certified Medical Assistant

As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well-being through direct support and seamless coordination. Every day, you will actively collaborate on comprehensive screenings, assist with clinical procedures, provide essential health education, and expertly manage administrative tasks, leveraging technology to coordinate care for diverse patient populations. You will ensure patients feel at ease, patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 645a-515p

**Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered**

Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment!

Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.

Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit.

Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.

Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.

Cleans and sterilizes instruments.

Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
