Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and assist with various dental procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for dental work by seating them and helping to make them comfortable
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them tools and ensuring the patient's comfort
• Take dental x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist
• Ensure the dental treatment rooms are clean and stocked

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
• X-ray certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
