Organisation Studies The School of Management is seeking to appoint an Assistant Lecturer in Human Resource Management.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent lecturer and an active researcher with a track record of innovation in their teaching, as well as a demonstrated research track record.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality and innovative design, teaching and assessment of Human Resource Management, Business Management and related modules for undergraduate and postgraduate students within the School of Management, People and Organisations.
Human Resource Management education is a significant activity in the School.
The School offers full-time and part-time BSc Human Resource Management programmes and a part-time MSc Human Resource Management.
All programmes are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Human Resource Management modules and streams also feature on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the Faculty of Business including in the Graduate Business School.
Therefore teaching on other programmes across the Faculty and University may also be required on occasion.
The successful candidate will conduct high-quality research and supervise research students, whilst also contributing to curriculum development.
The production of high-quality teaching materials and assessments which are inclusive and sensitive to student needs will be required.
There will be an expectation to demonstrate disciplinary expertise in Human Resource Management and be able to apply this relevant disciplinary knowledge to different learning contexts and industry sectors.
The successful candidate should also evidence an interest in building and maintaining strong links with industry and relevant professional bodies.
Hours of Work:This is a wholetime post.
In addition to teaching hours (up to 18 hours per week), attendance is required from Monday to Friday during the general working hours of the School and Faculty.
Location: The post will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e.
Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Grangegorman, Blanchardstown or Tallaght.
Regular attendance at other sites will be required. xyswxtq
Salary: It is expected that appointees will commence at point 01 of the Assistant Lecturer pay scale i.e: €47,572- € 64,372 (New Entrants) Unless the arrangements set out in Circular Letter IT 1/2005 apply Closing Date:5pm (Irish Time) on Friday 31st July 2026.
