Purpose of the Role Our client is seeking a senior, highly motivated HR Generalist with a strong ER/IR skillset to take ownership of workplace harmony, dispute mitigation, and legal compliance across a unionised manufacturing facility in Ireland alongside a multi-jurisdictional global workforce.

This specialised position focuses heavily on nurturing stable relationships with trade unions, navigating complex employment law frameworks, and protecting the organization from legal and reputational risks.
The successful candidate will act as the principal advisor to the business on all collective bargaining matters, internal investigations, and legislative adherence.
Key Candidate Requirements Lead consultations, and collective bargaining strategies with trade unions.
Act as advisor to the business during third-party disputes at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) and the Labour Court.
Design, implement, and manage internal employee relations frameworks to ensure fair and standardised treatment across all worker groups.
Manage and resolve sensitive disciplinary cases, grievance procedures, and workplace investigations.
Provide expert advisory support and hands-on training to managers to upskill their capability in handling daily employee relations matters.
Monitor global employment legislation changes across international jurisdictions to maintain consistent compliance across borders.
Candidate Profile HR Generalist with 4 years experience and a good exposure to ER in a manufacturing or similar industry, with a proven track record of resolving disputes and advising best practice.
Possesses thorough, expert-level knowledge of Irish statutory employment law alongside an understanding of broader international legal frameworks.
Demonstrates impartiality, attention to detail, and a structured approach when conducting sensitive corporate investigations.
Highly credible and confident when delivering risk assessments and protective counsel to executive leadership teams.
Requirements; 4+ years of progressive HR experience, with a specialisation in industrial relations and corporate compliance.
Extensive background operating within a heavily unionised manufacturing or similar industry. xyswxtq
Proven track record of independently managing direct case submissions and formal hearings before the WRC and Labour Court.
