This is a days-only role offering excellent work-life balance, a generous salary, and pension.
The successful candidate will support the efficient and compliant operation of production equipment, carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a range of plant and machinery to maximise uptime and minimise disruption to production.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment and plant services Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs efficiently and effectively Repair and replace components including bearings, belts, motors, pumps, and gearboxes Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimise downtime and production interruptions Support fabrication, installation, and general maintenance activities across site Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with technical audits Provide support and guidance to junior team members where required Requirements Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Fitter or equivalent trade qualification Proven experience in a manufacturing or production maintenance environment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability xyswxtq to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong understanding of preventative maintenance systems and continuous improvement practices Ability to deputise for Maintenance Manager when required Benefits Generous salary package & pension Monday-Friday day shift (no shift work) Strong career development opportunities within a growing manufacturing business Skills: Midlands Tipperary Food Maintenance Mechanical Fitter Manufacturing Benefits: Pension
