REF: 99805 Avista in partnership with the HSE are lead agency of East Limerick Children Services, a Children's Disability Network Team in Limerick.
We are looking for candidates who are committed to supporting children with disabilities who have complex needs and their families, in a family and person centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.
As a Basic Grade Speech and Language Therapist you will join our highly motivated interdisciplinary Children's Disability Network Team providing services to children and families.
Essential Criteria: Hold a recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy Up to date CORU registration Applicants with qualifications obtained outside of Ireland must provide a certificate of validation of their qualifications from the Department of Health.
Experience working with children and families Full clean Irish driving licence and use of a car Proficiency in the English language Desirable Criteria: Dysphagia qualification Clinical experience of working with children with a variety of complex needs including Autism, Intellectual Disability and Physical Disability.
Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioral competencies of Avista competency framework.
