About Your New Job As anWind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for keeping wind turbines operating safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on, field-based role with real responsibility and technical variety.
In this role, you will: Carry out service, maintenance, and repair works on wind turbines Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems Perform fault-finding and complete accurate technical reports Work at heights while strictly following safety rules, site procedures, and environmental standards Take part in a weekend emergency call-out rota as part of a close-knit technical team This role offers autonomy, technical challenge, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge renewable energy systems. xyswxtq
What Skills You Need To apply, you will need: To be a Qualified Electrician or hold an Electrical Engineering / Marine Electrotechnology qualification A full clean Irish Category B driving licence To be physically fit and able to pass a Working at Heights Medical A valid Safe Pass card Flexibility for weekend work, evening availability, and occasional nationwide travel Candidates should livewithin 50 minutes of Bantry, ideally within 45 minutes.
