Job Summary A leading FAANG E-Commerce company is seeking a Business Data Analyst who can review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. The analyst will formulate systems to align with overall business strategies, write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 6–8 years of experience in the field or a related area.
Job Responsibilities
This role requires an individual who thinks big and will build reporting capabilities to measure satisfaction metrics.
Able to proactively identify problems with significant business impact; facilitate analysis to identify problems and opportunities.
Hands‑on expert who defines the problem, requirements, analytical approach, design of analytical output, and design for automation.
Own the effective communication of metrics and analysis.
Consistently own and deliver deep dives in the form of narratives that influence business direction.
Job Requirements
4+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analysis role.
Proficient with SQL—very important.
Advanced skills and experience with data mining, query development, and visualization: SQL, PL/SQL, Quicksight, Tableau, statistical analysis tools, MS Excel, or similar.
Experience gathering business requirements and using industry‑standard business intelligence tools to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports.
Experience scripting for automation, metrics and reporting, dashboarding tools, and knowledge of AWS technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related technical field.
