Role Overview Castle Group is seeking a motivated and ambitious EHS Advisor to join our Environment, Health & Safety team.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across live construction and modular manufacturing environments while developing a strong foundation in EHS best practices.
The successful candidate will support the implementation and monitoring of health and safety systems across projects, working closely with site teams and senior EHS personnel to promote a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of Castle Groups EHS policies and procedures across project sites and manufacturing environments Assist in carrying out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Participate in incident investigations and support the development of corrective actions Assist in delivering site inductions and safety briefings (toolbox talks) Monitor compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation Maintain accurate EHS documentation and records Support the collection and reporting of EHS performance data Work collaboratively with project teams to promote safe systems of work Identify hazards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in construction working as an EHS Advisor Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline Strong interest in construction, modular, or manufacturing environments Basic knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation (desirable) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Full clean drivers licence (preferred due to travel requirements) Must be based in Ireland and eligible to work without sponsorship Skills & Competencies Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with site teams and management High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying risks Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Positive xyswxtq attitude towards safety and continuous improvement What We Offer Competitive salary (depending on experience and qualifications) Company vehicle or travel allowance (role dependent due to site travel requirements) Pension contribution scheme Annual performance-related salary review Structured graduate development programme with clear progression pathway Mentorship from senior EHS professionals Continuous professional development (CPD) support, including assistance with further certifications and training Exposure to high-profile projects across data centre, pharmaceutical, and modular sectors Employee wellbeing initiatives and support programmes Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding organisation operating across Ireland and Europe Skills: Safety management system Accident Investigation Health & Safety Occupational hygiene HSEQ Benefits: Pension Fund Company Vehicle
