*Role Overview*
We are seeking a licensed *Dispensing Pharmacist* responsible for the *accurate, timely dispensing of prescribed medications* to patients. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where assignments may require *interpretation, independent judgment, and decision-making* with minimal supervision.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Accurately review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications
* Ensure compliance with *quality assurance standards* and regulatory guidelines
* Perform comprehensive *final verification* before medications are shipped
* Maintain accurate documentation and tracking processes
* Apply clinical judgment in ambiguous situations with minimal direction
* Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency
* Support organizational goals and continuously improve patient experience
* Follow established policies, procedures, and best practices
*Required Qualifications*
* *Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or PharmD* from an accredited institution
* *Active Pharmacist License* in the state(s) of practice
* Eligibility to participate in *federal prescription programs*
* Strong *problem-solving and critical thinking skills*
* Ability to work both *independently and collaboratively*
* High level of *accuracy, focus, and productivity*
* Excellent *verbal and written communication skills*
* Comfort working with *computer systems and pharmacy software*
* Passion for improving *customer/patient experience*
*Preferred Qualifications*
* *3+ years of experience* in a high-volume *retail, community, or mail-order pharmacy setting*
*Work Environment*
* Fast-paced, high-volume dispensing environment
* Requires attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities
