A leading Irish Civil Engineering Contractor delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects nationwide is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of watermain installations, pumping stations, treatment facilities, and associated civil works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Coordinate daily site activities with site management, subcontractors, and utility stakeholders.
Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
Supervise subcontractors and direct labour on site.
Monitor project progress and assist with short-term planning and programme management.
Prepare and maintain accurate site records, diaries, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project quality plans.
Support the implementation of health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction activities.
Assist with procurement, material management, and plant coordination.
Liaise with local authorities, Irish Water/Uisce ireann representatives, and third-party stakeholders.
Ensure all works comply with permit requirements, traffic management plans, and environmental controls.
Monitor underground services and coordinate utility diversions where required.
Participate in site meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with company HSQE systems.
Key Skills Required Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
2+ years' experience in civil engineering, utilities, water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.
Strong setting out and surveying experience using Total Station and GPS equipment.
Knowledge of watermain installation, drainage, pipelines, chambers, and reinforced concrete structures.
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site operations.
Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and engineering survey software.
Full clean Irish/EU driving licence. xyswxtq
