Working within the Production Planning team, you will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules for soups and intermediates, ensuring efficient operations, resource planning, and on-time delivery.
This role is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Working Hours:Monday Saturday | 8:00am 5:00pm (Saturday work on a rota basis with time off in lieu provided) The role Create and manage daily production schedules to meet business needs.
Ensure ingredients and materials are available for production.
Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Monitor stock usage and reduce waste where possible.
Communicate updates on production plans, product launches, and any potential issues.
Identify and resolve planning challenges such as stock shortages or scheduling conflicts.
Attend daily meetings and adjust plans when priorities change.
Keep production planning records accurate and up to date.
Support improvements to planning processes and efficiency.
About You Previous experience as a Production Planner, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG.
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; planning software experience advantageous.
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. xyswxtq
Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline desirable (CPIM advantageous).
