- Fitout An expanding Fitout Contractor in North Dublin has a new opportunity for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team.
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team, working on a range of high-profile in Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful commercial delivery of projects, managing costs, contracts, procurement, and client relationships from inception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities Deliver strong commercial outcomes through accurate cost management and financial reporting.
Manage subcontractor and supplier accounts, including valuations, payments, performance monitoring, and final account negotiations.
Procure subcontractors and suppliers in line with project procurement programmes.
Measure and value completed works, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Prepare, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements.
Monitor project costs against budgets, identifying risks, forecasting expenditure, and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
Liaise with clients on commercial matters, including variations, claims, and additional payment agreements.
Identify and prepare contractual claims and supporting documentation where appropriate.
Produce and manage project cash flow forecasts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting key deadlines.
About You The successful candidate will have: Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
A minimum of 12 years' experience within the construction industry.
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Candidates with an HND/HNC and significant relevant experience will also be considered.
A valid CSCS or CSR card.
A full UK driving licence.
Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and communication skills.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
