This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to work within a busy and supportive service, providing specialist assessment and treatment to patients presenting with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based interventions while supporting service development and promoting best practice in musculoskeletal care.
The Role As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will: Provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal conditions Manage a varied caseload including acute, chronic, post-operative, and complex MSK presentations Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on evidence-based practice Deliver exercise prescription, rehabilitation programmes, and patient education Support early intervention and self-management strategies Work collaboratively with consultants, GPs, nurses, and other allied health professionals Maintain accurate clinical records and reports in line with professional standards Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives Provide supervision, support, and mentorship to junior staff and students where required Requirements for the Senior Physiotherapist: Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy CORU registration A minimum of three years' post-qualification physiotherapy experience Significant experience managing musculoskeletal caseloads Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Desirable Experience Previous experience working at Senior Physiotherapist level Experience within hospital, outpatient, or primary care MSK services Training in advanced musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation Experience supervising staff or students What's on Offer?
