Job Description We are seeking a contingent QA Engineer III to support the Valencia site. The initial need is six months with a possible three-month extension, for a total potential duration of nine months. This role has been pursued since before January and is now needed due to a larger influx of jobs, new requirements, and process/compliance needs.
Responsibilities
Implementing SPC.
Creating inspection plans.
Analyzing quality/inspection data.
Partnering with production, inspection, and manufacturing engineering.
Supporting root cause/corrective actions and process capability improvement.
Focusing on SPC implementation and inspection plan development on the production floor to support ITT's goal of achieving and sustaining 1 DPPM.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree; hands-on manufacturing quality engineering experience.
Demonstrated SPC and inspection plan development; strong analytical and floor-support capability.
Aerospace, AS9100, FAA/commercial aerospace, high-reliability manufacturing, or complex electromechanical/controls experience preferred.
