Job Summary

Anchor CM is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial build-out construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure schedules, documentation, and communication remain organized and on track. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and demonstrates strong organizational and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of commercial build-out projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Maintain and track project schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and progress reports
  • Track material procurement and deliveries to ensure alignment with project timelines
  • Support permitting processes, inspections, and compliance with local building codes and safety standards
  • Monitor project progress and flag potential schedule or cost impacts
  • Maintain organized and accurate project files in project management software
  • Assist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation
Qualifications
  • 13 years of experience in construction coordination or project support, preferably in commercial build-out projects
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Work Environment
  • Combination of office and active construction site environments
  • May require occasional site visits and extended hours to meet project deadlines

This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission tied directly to construction project performance. Total compensation is performance-based and reflects experience, project volume, and results.
