Schedule / Coverage Model
Scheduled clinical hours + call Call ratio: 1:1 Beeper call 30-minute response time required Night call required every night during coverage Practice Setting
Hospital + outpatient clinic coverage Endoscopy suite + office clinic + inpatient consults Beds in department: 4 Assigned and unassigned rounding responsibilities Clinical Workflow
Endoscopy procedures:
Monday, Wednesday Half-day Thursday Friday
Clinic visits:
Tuesday Half-day Thursday
Inpatient consults + rounding daily as needed Patient Volume
20-25 patients per shift Additional Notes
Overtime begins after 40 hours Physician manages:
Endoscopy procedures Outpatient clinic Inpatient consults Night call coverage
