Summary There are two positions open at Bally’s Casino and one open at Harrington Casino. Positions in this class series observe and report table game activities, inspect gaming equipment to determine compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures, and assist in monitoring cage, count room, and surveillance activities.
Essential Functions
Observe and verify that rules of the table games are adhered to by casino employees and patrons.
Observe and ensure that regulations are being followed in the cage, count room, and surveillance operations.
Observe and ensure that the table drop is done properly and drop boxes are transported safely to the count room.
Observe and ensure that the table games soft count is properly accounted for.
Verify table inventory discrepancies over one hundred dollars.
Inspect table game equipment and reserves; approve use prior to being used on the casino gaming floor.
Check that gaming facility employees possess valid licenses and display badges properly.
Document patron complaints and disputes regarding the application of rules and operation of games not resolved by casino staff.
Review gaming facility self reports of regulatory violations.
Interpret and apply applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
Maintain and update records and logs and prepare a variety of reports.
Job Requirements Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:
Six months experience in record keeping.
Six months experience in applying laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
Six months experience in narrative report writing.
Knowledge of regulatory or gaming compliance work.
Conditions of Hire Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The State of Delaware Executive Branch participates in the Federal E‑Verify system, where the State will provide the federal government with each new hire’s Form I‑9 information to confirm eligibility to work in the U.S.
Applicant must complete a satisfactory criminal background check, reference checks, confirmation of compliance with federal and state tax laws, and any other required condition of employment.
All new hires are required to report to the Statewide New Employee Orientation (SNEO) on their first day of employment. Sessions are held at designated locations in Kent or New Castle County.
