Role Description This is a part‑time, on‑site Sales Advisor role based in Woodbury, MN. The Sales Advisor will welcome customers, listen actively to their needs, and guide them through frame selection, lens options, and fittings to ensure a comfortable and stylish experience. This role includes providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service, processing orders and adjustments, and maintaining an organized, visually appealing sales floor. The Sales Advisor will learn and share product knowledge, communicate promotions, and support customers with online and in‑store services. Day‑to‑day work also involves collaborating with teammates, meeting individual and store sales goals, and supporting training activities for new team members as needed.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build genuine, respectful connections with a diverse range of customers and teammates.
Clear, professional communication skills, including active listening and the ability to explain product options and services simply.
Customer service experience with a focus on empathy, problem‑solving, and creating positive, memorable store experiences.
Sales skills, including comfort working toward goals, recommending products, and handling point‑of‑sale transactions accurately.
Experience supporting or participating in training, coaching, or peer learning in a retail or service environment.
Ability to work a flexible full‑time schedule, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and assisting with light stocking or merchandising tasks.
Previous retail, optical, or fashion experience is helpful but not required; willingness to learn about eyewear and vision care is essential.
