Utilize a journalistic approach to identify stories and draft copy for blogs, social posts, and emails that are factual, persuasive, and timely. Integrate AI-assisted tools and workflows to streamline content production, improve efficiency, and enhance creative output. Maintain a consistent CCV brand voice while engaging with our community and responding to current events in real-time. Direct, shoot, and edit engaging Reels and YouTube Shorts that simplify complex policy issues into digestible, viral content. Create compelling, on-brand social graphics and assets that stand out in a crowded feed. Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of ongoing social media campaigns that align with CCV’s work. Scale our audience through organic and paid strategies, providing the leadership team with actionable data insights. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications & Requirements
Skills and Experience
5+ years’ experience and a proven track record in communications, marketing, or social media management for a mission-driven organization, brand, or political campaign. Journalistic background preferred. Experience in newsgathering, editorial writing, or media relations is highly valued. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator), Canva, and mobile editing tools like CapCut. Proficient in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and comfortable leveraging generative AI for brainstorming, copy editing, and asset generation to maintain a high-frequency posting schedule. Strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to manage multi-week campaigns that move specific organizational performance measures forward. Understanding of the policy issues impacting families, education, and faith communities in Ohio. Character and Spiritual
Mature Christian, currently attending or pursuing attendance in a local church. Agreement with and adherence to CCV’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct. Demonstrated commitment to CCV’s mission and position on Core Issues. Ability to work discreetly with confidential information. Trustworthy, responsible, tactful, diplomatic, and focused on building consensus rather than emphasizing differences. Maintain a high level of professionalism focused on client/constituent relationships.
