Job Summary Do you want to be part of shaping the future of television, helping to better understand today's complex viewing behaviors through innovative measurement and data techniques? Then join us! Our premier Media client is looking for an individual to join their Data Transformation & Measurement team. Data plays a central role at our client and this position will be responsible for analyzing viewership of our clients' and competitive networks and platforms across all screens and will support internal digital and cross platform reporting projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, experience working with audience measurement tools and large data sets, Python and SQL proficiency, and the curiosity to explore and evaluate new measurement tools across linear and digital.
Notes from Hiring Manager This contractor will be supporting a few projects across the Data & Measurement team and will be involved with report automation, dashboard building, data quality checks and title matching. Must be open to Hybrid role 2-3 days in office

Python and SQL required; Tableau strongly preferred
Ideally, familiarity with traditional TV and digital measurement preferred (e.g. Nielsen, Comscore, Adobe). If someone isn't familiar with these sources, we would be open to someone who is familiar with TV and digital platforms in general (meaning, they are a regular viewer – familiar with the networks, watch manu programs, etc.)
Attention to detail, accuracy, organization, strong problem-solving skills and exceptional work ethic are essential
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in data analytics or equivalent internship experience
Curiosity and eagerness to work with numbers and charts
Python and SQL required; Tableau strongly preferred
Familiarity with traditional TV and digital measurement preferred (e.g. Nielsen, Comscore, Adobe)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, economics, statistics or related field
Attention to detail, accuracy, organization, strong problem-solving skills and exceptional work ethic are essential
Exceptional communicator across all levels of the organization; able to effectively tell stories with data and present findings to a non-technical audience
Ability to collaborate and work closely with other parts of the business as well as external partners
Capable of prioritizing multiple projects and ad-hoc requests while thriving in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter, resourceful, flexible, proactive & a true team-player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed
Passion for the entertainment industry and television programming
Responsibilities
Enable data-driven decisions by monitoring new and existing data sources for quality and accuracy
Streamline and automate reporting processes (ie, report automation, dashboard creation, title matching) to get the right data into the right hands as quickly as possible
Support a data platform used to analyze similar data sets to identify points of alignment (or the lack of alignment), formulating a POV on how each set of data should optimally be used
Fulfill ad-hoc data requests from across the client's portfolio and provide trainings as needed
Identify and analyze trends in the evolving cross platform media landscape to influence the future of TVs
Analyze and translate data-based findings into clear, relevant and actionable insights
