What You Will Be Doing
Assist Project Engineers with design and construction phase activities on municipal Water/Wastewater projects.
Perform basic design computations, preliminary layouts, design, research, prepare rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
Assist with project plans, specifications, cost and quantity take‑off estimates.
Conduct construction observation activities such as staking, documentation, measurement, testing, oversight, and interaction with contractors, sub‑contractors, residents and city staff.
What We Are Looking For
Master of Science or Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution, with emphasis on water or wastewater treatment.
Certified Engineer‑in‑Training or ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
Experience with water or wastewater treatment projects.
Working knowledge of CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil3D, Revit).
Valid driver’s license; travel to various facilities and job sites may be required.
Salary Range:
$58,000 – $90,000, depending on years of experience and credentials.
