WHAT YOUR ROLE INVOLVES

• Welcome guests warmly and ensure impeccable service from start to finish
• Advise guests on menus, products and food and wine pairings
• Take orders, perform table service and handle billing
• Handle complaints, allergies and special requests with professionalism
• Set up and break down your section
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards at all times
• Work closely with the kitchen and dining room team
• Apply Sheraton brand policies, procedures and standards
• Perform any other related tasks contributing to the smooth operation of the restaurant

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• DEP or DEC in hotel and restaurant management or equivalent training
• Relevant table service experience
• French-English bilingualism required due to regular interactions with an international clientele
• Knowledge of MAPAQ standards
• Knowledge of wines (asset)
• Positive attitude, dynamism, team spirit and organizational skills
• Autonomy, stress tolerance, attention to detail and professionalism
