21st Century Community Learning Center Project Director

Supervised by/Reports to: Federal Programs Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Goal: Plan, develop, write, administer, coordinate, and maintain the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) subgrant-funded program that serves district/community students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with individuals of diverse cultural/ethnic backgrounds.
  • Ability to write and research grants.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or higher
  • Experience in supervisory positions
  • Work experience related to grant programs.
  • Teaching Certificate
  • Experience in managing Federally Funded programs

Performance Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for assuring high-quality program services and support to enrolled children and their families and providing sufficient communication.
  • Ensures all 21st CCLC site staff and programmatic activities comply with school district and 21st CCLC Grant Program rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Lead the 21st CCLC site coordinators in maintaining accurate, complete and current financial records.
  • Lead the 21st CCLC site coordinators in required data collection and analysis.
  • Assist 21st CCLC staff in coordinating required parent and family events.
  • Assist the 21st CCLC site coordinators in establishing, maintaining and strengthening required community partnerships.
  • Meets with 21st CCLC staff and principal to discuss student needs and program compliance.
  • Attend all required meetings/training.
  • Assists 21st CCLC site coordinator in coordinating required professional development for 21st CCLC staff.
  • Ensure program activities align with the goals, strategies and activities outlined in the 21st CCLC Grant application.
  • Manage the 21st CCLC program budget, data collection and analysis, program evaluation, submit annual and other required reports.
  • Lead the 21st CCLC site coordinators in maintaining up-to-date required grant related documentation.
  • Work closely with and communicate in a timely manner with school principal and district level coordinators/directors/departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to finger, to handle, or feel objects, equipment, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, crouch and kneel. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull carry and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus with or without corrective lenses. Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy.

Salary: LCS Coordinator Salary Schedule (240 days)
