Responsibilities: • Create and fulfill a customer acquisition strategy for your sales territory • Keep company abreast of new business development opportunities, account status, potential customers, customer needs, and competitive issues using CRM • Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions in order to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met • Initiate contact and follow up with potential customers to present our new products or services • Attend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales events • Embody Electrify My Home principles • Perform virtual assessments and pre-sell prior to performing a home visit • Keep CRM updated with outreach & project information • Bring company-provided and self-provided leads from inquiry to sale • Attend in-person and online events to promote the company • Confidently speak to large groups • Provide consultative-based techniques in line with the company's low-pressure sales philosophy • Stay up-to-date on system performance techniques and products • Perform site visits and gather data needed for Manual J-load calculations Qualifications: • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license • To be successful in this role you must have strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills • Experience using a CRM is preferred • Proven track record of sales experience, 3-5 years • We prefer if you have a bachelor's degree or high school school diploma • Applicants must have 3+ years of sales experience • Applicants must have 3+ years of HVAC design, installation, and/or service experience • Must be clean-cut with a positive attitude, willing to learn, and be a team player • Must be exceptionally personable, polite, and an excellent communicator • Self-driver - must take customers from start to finish • Knowledge of home energy systems.
