About the Role At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. The Airborne Antenna Design department headquartered in McKinney, Texas is responsible for full‑scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for antenna products, including architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and deploy Radio Frequency (RF) passive circuits (radiators, RF manifolds, RF transitions, etc.) and perform electromagnetic (EM) modeling.
Implement best practice standards for planning, coordinating, and executing RF passive circuit design and EM modeling with sound engineering process discipline and leadership.
Follow established procedures and instructions while working closely with program and functional leadership to ensure overall design objectives are met.
Develop technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
Travel may be periodically required.
Qualifications You Must Have The role typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience, to include any combination of the following:
Experience in passive circuit design and/or EM modeling.
Experience performing structured design processes, root‑cause problem solving, and successful on‑time/on‑schedule task execution.
Experience with test equipment including antenna ranges, vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, MATLAB, and AutoCAD.
Capable of providing input or guidance to lower‑level engineers.
Ability to manage conflicting or non‑existent requirements in a rapidly changing environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD. This estimate is representative of all experience levels, and final offers consider role, function, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and key skills.
