The Role The Senior Demand Analytics & AI Enablement Analyst is a planner-facing role within the North America Demand Planning organization. This position focuses on standardizing demand analytics, improving forecast diagnostics, and enabling Demand Planners through advanced analytics and AI-powered tools, including Microsoft Copilot and other LLM-based solutions.
This role does not own the demand forecast. Instead, it acts as a force multiplier for Demand Planners by creating repeatable, trusted analytical frameworks, standard reports, and AI-enabled insights that improve forecast accuracy and support S&OP decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Develop standardized analytics to evaluate forecast accuracy, bias, volatility, and error drivers
Perform root cause analysis of forecast error across SKU, brand, channel, and customer levels
Create Pareto-based views identifying key drivers of forecast error
Analyze demand, shipment, and POS relationships to surface risks and misalignment
Design and maintain AI-assisted analytical workflows to support Demand Planners
Build and manage a library of approved Copilot prompts and analytics use cases
Embed AI-generated insights into Excel, Power BI, and planning workflows
Ensure outputs are explainable, consistent, and trusted
Own development of standard demand planning reports and narratives
Translate complex analysis into executive-ready insights
Enable exception-based management through automated diagnostics
Partner closely with Demand Planners to eliminate manual analysis
Collaborate with Supply Planning, Commercial, and Finance teams
Train planners on interpretation and use of standardized analytics
Qualifications
3+ years experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Demand Analytics
Experience in CPG or high-SKU environments
Strong analytical and Excel skills
Experience with planning systems such as Blue Yonder, SAP, or similar
Strong communication skills and business acumen
Proficient English (written and verbal)
Desirable
Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools
Exposure to POS data and customer-level demand analytics
Experience using AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to support analytics, insight generation, or reporting; familiarity with best practices for asking structured questions of data is a plus
Beauty or consumer discretionary industry experience
Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
