Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Professional with a strong background in Nutrition and Food ingredients . The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of technical experience working with R&D teams and other related technical personnel.
What You'll Do Actively seek out and pursue new business opportunities in the following markets: Dietary Supplements, Sports Nutrition, Human and Animal Nutrition, Food, Flavor, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Lubricants & Metalworking Fluids, or Household, Industrial & Institutional (HI&I). Develop and implement practical sales plans , including setting ambitious revenue targets, and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through closing. Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key clients , understanding their specific needs and providing customized solutions that align with the company's product portfolio. Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains competitive. Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including product development and marketing, to develop compelling value propositions and effective marketing strategies . What You'll Need Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Science, Nutrition, or Business , along with relevant industry experience. 5+ years of outside sales experience selling ingredients into at least one of the following markets: Dietary Supplements, Sports Nutrition, Human or Animal Nutrition, Food, Flavor, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Lubricants & Metalworking Fluids, or Household, Industrial & Institutional (HI&I). Established relationships with existing accounts within the assigned territory.
