Sales Operations Lead

The Sales Operations Lead (by Channel) is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and optimizing sales operations within a specific channel (Sporting Goods, Commercial & Premium, Drug & Grocery, etc.). This position ensures the effective execution of sales strategies, process improvements, and data analysis to drive sales performance and achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to multi‑task and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Channel Specific Sales Strategy : Develop and implement sales operations strategies tailored to the specific channel. Collaborate with the Sales Director to ensure alignment and execution with channel‑specific goals and objectives.
Pricing Management : Own end‑to‑end customer pricing integrity within SharePoint, ensuring all initial price loads and changes are executed swiftly and accurately, with complete SKU coverage and alignment to commercial agreements.
Product Data & Content Management : Obtain and distribute accurate and consistent product data across retailer portals, including SKU details, attributes, and specifications. Partner with Marketing and Product teams to ensure complete and accurate product content for item set‑up and retailer listings (images, descriptions, features).
Process Optimization : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales productivity and efficiency within the channel. Ensure consistent application of best practices and standard operating procedures (e.g., retailer set‑up forms, item set‑up forms, new product development requests, quality testing forms).
Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement. Build sales presentations to assist the Sales Director in telling our brand and product stories.
Technology and Tools Management : Leverage and optimize sales technology and automation tools to drive efficiency and performance.
Resource Management : Partner with Sales leadership to elevate retailer relationships and deliver a best‑in‑class omni‑channel experience across both in‑store and digital channels through strong customer engagement and service excellence.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, finance, product and other departments to ensure alignment and support for channel‑specific sales initiatives. Drive effective communication and collaboration across teams to achieve common goals.
Team Building : Work within a business pod supported by Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Service and Logistics. Create an environment that encourages visionary thinking and career development.
Other Duties : Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of commercial execution and customer experience objectives.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2-3 years in customer service, order management and/or sales operations is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
Four‑year college degree. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing or a related field.
Previous Oracle experience
Experience working in consumer products
