Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring a Manager, Business Analytics in Austin, TX to design applications that support the development of analytical insights to inform and guide business decisions. Telecommuting is available and multiple positions are open. Responsibilities
Design healthcare‑related applications that assist with requirement gathering, database design, development, unit testing, performance testing, and QA testing support activities. Develop, validate, and execute algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions, determining analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes. Implement automation of manual processes for both new and legacy systems. Design, extract, and develop ETL workflows and datasets using various technologies and reporting tools. Develop data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data that helps generate insights and addresses business reporting needs. Develop applications using Python and its core libraries. Design complex reports using Oracle SQL or similar server databases. Liaise with outside IT consultants and other third‑party contractors to ensure business requests are completed on time. Qualifications
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and at least two (2) years of experience in a related occupation. At least two (2) years of experience in each of the following: GIT, Java, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. At least two (2) years of experience in Agile methodologies. At least two (2) years of experience with Oracle, JIRA, MySQL, or SQL. At least two (2) years of experience with relational database concepts. At least two (2) years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting. At least two (2) years of experience with Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases. At least two (2) years of experience working with UI/UX teams to develop wireframes and prototypes based on end‑user feedback and human‑centered design. Pay Range
$114,754.00/year to $132,600.00/year. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. The position is eligible for a bonus, commission, short‑term incentive program, and an equity award target. Benefits
