Required Minimum Qualifications
Experience in 1 or more programming languages, Python preferred
Familiarity with machine learning concepts or genetic programming projects
Task / team leadership experience
Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
Experience with machine learning or genetic programming projects
Student Assistant
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field to Machine Learning
Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university during working semesters
2.0 or higher GPA
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas in non-technical language
Familiarity with Linux and configuration management tools
Experience with Evolutionary Multi-objective Algorithm Design Engine (EMADE) toolset
Currently or previously enrolled in Georgia Tech’s VIP Automated Algorithm Design (AAD) course (i.e. VIP 2601, VIP 3601, VIP 3602, VIP 4601, VIP 4602, VIP 6603)
Secret clearance
Hours per Week 15–20 hours per week
U.S. Citizenship Requirements Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.
Clearance Type Required Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.
Housing and Relocation Housing and relocation assistance are not available for this position.
