LPN - Long Term Care (LTC) Job DescriptionPosition: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care (LTC) Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The LPN is responsible for administering medications, monitoring resident conditions, documenting care, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by physicians. Monitor residents' health status and report any changes in condition to the RN or healthcare provider. Perform routine nursing procedures, including wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection. Assess and document vital signs, pain levels, and resident responses to treatment.
