*Location:* Beechwood Dental Practice
*Salary:* £13.50 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
*⏰ Hours:* 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, with potential Saturday opening)
*About the Role*
We are looking for a *motivated, caring, and professional Dental Nurse* to join our friendly and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and wants to work in a modern, supportive dental practice.
You will play a key role in delivering outstanding clinical support and ensuring a smooth patient journey from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Chairside assistance during a full range of dental procedures
* Preparing and maintaining clinical areas in line with cross-infection protocols
* Sterilisation and decontamination of instruments (HTM 01-05 compliant)
* Supporting clinicians with materials, equipment, and patient care
* Ensuring accurate and complete clinical records are maintained
* Assisting with patient communication and reassurance
* Maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies when required
* Supporting compliance with CQC and GDC standards
✅ Requirements
* Qualified Dental Nurse (NEBDN or equivalent)
* Valid General Dental Council (GDC) registration
* Knowledge of cross-infection control and clinical protocols
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional, reliable, and well-organised
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment
⭐ Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience with SOE / R4 / Exact software
* Radiography qualification
* Experience assisting with implants, orthodontics, or cosmetic treatments
