Tucson Dental Implants & Periodontics is seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Dental Surgical Assistant to join our fast-paced periodontal specialty practice. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes initiative, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

• Assist the periodontist during surgical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and surgical instruments
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Obtain digital radiographs and CBCT scans
• Educate patients on post-operative instructions
• Record accurate clinical notes
• Monitor inventory and maintain supplies
• Seat and prepare patients for treatment
• Assist with implant surgeries, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, extractions, sinus lifts, and periodontal procedures
• Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day

• Dental assisting experience preferred (periodontal or oral surgery experience is a plus)
• X-ray certification required (or ability to obtain)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Team-oriented and professional
