We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Coordinator, based in the Port Coquitlam, BC, manufacturing facility, to support international sales. This role focuses on execution, process coordination, and analytics—helping ensure smooth sales operations from opportunity to order fulfillment.
You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Support teams to maintain accurate data, improve processes, and support day-to-day operational needs.
This is an individual contributor role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across systems, solving operational challenges, and supporting a fast-paced B2B sales environment.
Key Responsibilities Inbound Sales Prepare and process sales quotes and orders, from customers / dealers / affiliates Check accuracy of product configuration Checks accurate screening and export control approval Ensure all terms and conditions are accurate and acceptable before processing Apply appropriate commissions and discounts for Kongsberg sales affiliates and dealers Prepare and validate freight cost estimates and shipping quotes to international customer destinations, coordinating with our shipping department Support the sales team by incorporating accurate shipping costs, lead times, and delivery conditions into customer quotes and proposals Communicate with customers regarding any order delays Support commercial activities, including trade shows and selective sales engagement as needed. Maintain and update CRM system (Dynamics 365) with accurate customer / dealers / affiliates, opportunity, and order data Track sales pipeline activity and ensure data hygiene and completeness Assist in preparing proposals, pricing documentation, and bid packages Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes by maintaining accurate sales forecasts and demand inputs Enter workorders for Production Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between customer demand, inventory, and delivery capabilities Track order intake, backlog, and forecast changes to highlight risks and opportunities Assist in preparing data and reports for S&OP/S&OE meetings (e.g., demand vs supply, order status, key variances) Monitor order execution to ensure timely fulfillment and elevate any delays or constraints Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and data quality
Reporting & Analytics Support forecasting processes by consolidating inputs from the sales team Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities Build and maintain dashboards and trackers (Excel / Power BI)
Process Coordination Coordinate workflows across Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure timely order processing Support order lifecycle management: from quote to order entry to delivery coordination Help identify inefficiencies in sales processes and suggest improvements Maintain documentation of processes, tools, and workflows
Customer & Internal Support Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding sales operations questions Support customer onboarding processes and documentation requirements Assist with responding to customer inquiries related to orders, quotes, and timelines Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to track order status
Tools & Systems Help administer and improve CRM and sales tools Ensure data consistency across systems (CRM, ERP, reporting tools) Support system adoption by assisting sales team with tools and processes
Qualifications Required 2–5 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or commercial operations Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot) Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment The incumbent is also required to complete any other tasks associated with Kongsberg Discovery activities as deemed appropriate. Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident, working in the Port Coquitlam office, 5 days a week
Preferred Experience in a technology, industrial, maritime, or engineering environment Familiarity with ERP systems Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools Understanding of sales processes in B2B or project-based environments Process-driven and detail-oriented Analytical and data-savvy Collaborative and proactive Customer-focused mindset Strong problem-solving skills

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $80,000 annually, DOE
Work Location:
Office located in Port Coquitlam, BC.
