We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer for a great opportunity in Annapolis Junction, MD. Senior level candidates are needed with strong Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS.
An active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance is required.
This position is 100% Onsite and not open for Remote.
Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications.
Drive consistency for deployment and build processes.
Utilize modern tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux, and much more.
DevOps Engineer Qualifications:
An active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance is required.
1 to 20 years of experience, bachelor’s degree (4 years of additional experience can be substituted for a bachelor’s degree; graduate degree can offset 4 years).
Experience with AWS (S3, VPCs & Networking, EC2, ECS/EKS).
Experience with Containerization (Docker, k8s, Registries).
Experience with IaC (Terraform/Cloud Formation).
Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins/ GitHub Actions).
Worked with teams on large projects, built on AWS, and familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, Python.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience setting up a CI/CD pipeline.
Understand Agile software development and DevOps practices and can work closely with peers and other mid‑to large size teams.
Focus on understanding customers' needs and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production‑ready code and infrastructure.
