Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
supports operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities, assisting in maintenance and repair efforts and performing defined tasks. Responsibilities
Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts Assist the operations team in maintenance and repair of building and equipment General interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems Minor plumbing repairs Perform special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned Move office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested Perform facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions affecting occupancy and operations Be on call for after‑hours emergencies Comply with safety procedures, maintain housekeeping and safety of work areas, identify hazards and propose elimination methods Maintain compliance with state, county, or city ordinances, codes, or laws Follow policies for safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs Maintain a clean and safe work environment Document work performance and materials procurement as directed Work independently or in a team; self‑motivated Perform other operational tasks typical of the Maintenance Mechanic role Physical Demands
Lift a minimum of 80 lbs, use ladders up to 30 ft, possess mechanical and electrical aptitude Frequently climb, bend, kneel, and lift Drive long distances within designated portfolio Excellent oral and written English communication skills Required Experience and Technical Skills
3+ years of general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical experience Valid state driver’s license Preferred
