Job Overview
THE·TEAM New York office is seeking a copywriter to craft compelling copy for brand social and digital channels. The role focuses on developing evergreen and campaign content from concept through execution, and writing copy and scripts for social content and client‑facing presentations. Responsibilities
Write and edit copy for social campaigns, including social copy, scripts, and brand manifestos. Develop concepts for original social content and campaigns. Participate in brainstorms, present concepts, and take direction/feedback from the Creative Director, strategy, and account leads. Collaborate with Art Directors, Content Creators, and Designers to create assets across multiple platforms. Turn creative concepts into compelling presentations for clients and internal teams. Support integrated marketing campaigns across social, digital, video, and influencer channels. Present creative ideas confidently to internal stakeholders and clients. Work with Art Directors to produce storyboards and scripts. Ensure the team’s creative vision is realized in the final product. Coordinate with clients’ other agencies on cross‑channel campaigns. Track cultural and platform trends, especially in the influencer space. Mentor junior creative staff on concepting, presenting, and strategic marketing skills. Ensure all copy follows brand guidelines. Proactively bring ideas that resonate with the brand, even without a brief. Qualifications
1+ years experience in a social‑focused role, either in an agency or social publisher. Excellent social‑first creative thinking. Strong experience presenting concepts and scripts in compelling formats. Production experience. Flawless spelling and grammar. Passion for, and understanding of, social media and youth culture. Ability to channel different editorial voices and understand brand audiences. Strong presentation skills. Collaborative across internal teams, clients, and partner agencies. Commitment to excellence, including willingness to work non‑standard hours when necessary. Proficiency in MS Office, Keynote, Google Docs, and Slides. Compensation
Base salary range: $70,000–$75,000, plus bonus potential. Total compensation depends on market dynamics, location, experience, and other factors. Equal Opportunity
