Prepare, package, label, compound, and distribute medications safely and accurately under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. Maintain medication inventory by ordering, receiving, stocking, rotating, and monitoring supplies to ensure medication availability. Support pharmacy operations through quality assurance, controlled substance documentation, billing support, and compliance with state, federal, and USP regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment while utilizing pharmacy technology and automated medication systems. Provide excellent customer service, protect patient confidentiality, participate in ongoing education, and perform additional duties within the Pharmacy Technician scope of practice.
Hours/Shifts 64 hours biweekly, with opportunity to flex up to 80 hours biweekly. Primary location for this role will be Elbow Lake with scheduling in Fergus Falls as needed. Option to routinely be scheduled some days in Fergus Falls (including our Cancer Center) if the candidate desires. Compensation Hourly wage range: $20.94- $28.86. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations. Has obtained certification and is registered as a Pharmacy Technician in Minnesota. Must maintain certification/registration as required by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy. Successfully completes a pre-employment background check, health screening and/or additional processes as applicable. Attends work site per schedule, yet can be flexible with scheduling to meet emergency staffing needs. Must work weekends as assigned. Proficiently operates a computer and is capable of using required software programs. Accurately follows oral and written instructions, pays attention to detail and follows through with initiated tasks. Effectively performs routine, repetitive tasks with sustained attention to detail and technique.
