SUMMARY
Position Summary The HRIS & People Analytics Analyst is a key individual contributor responsible for administration and optimization of HR systems, including Workday and ADP, while building and advancing the organization’s people analytics capabilities. This role transforms workforce data into actionable insights that support business decisions, improve employee outcomes, and enhance organizational effectiveness. This position partners closely with HR leaders, Finance, and IT to ensure data integrity across systems, deliver meaningful analysis, and enable a more data-driven HR function. Key Responsibilities
HR Systems & Data Management—Performs day-to-day administration of Workday and ADP, including configuration, updates, testing, and ongoing optimization; ensures data integrity, accuracy, and alignment across systems, focusing on consistency between Workday (HRIS) and ADP (payroll) and other vendor applications; manages and troubleshoots system integrations, data feeds, and interfaces between platforms; maintains data governance standards; partners with IT and Finance to improve system connectivity, reporting alignment, and data architecture; coordinates vendor relationships, upgrades, and system enhancements. People Analytics & Reporting—Designs, builds, and maintains dashboards and reports using data from Workday, ADP, and other sources; establishes standardized workforce metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, compensation, hiring funnel) and ensures consistency across reporting; automates recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness; delivers regular and ad‑hoc reporting to HR and business leaders; analyzes workforce trends, including attrition, hiring effectiveness, compensation, and organizational movement; identifies patterns and provides insights into workforce dynamics, including potential drivers of turnover or gaps in hiring performance; translates complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for HR and business leaders; develops executive‑ready presentations and data visualizations; supports process improvement and capability building by identifying opportunities to streamline people processes across systems, partnering with HR team members to improve data literacy, and providing guidance and support to colleagues developing reporting and analytics skills. Qualifications
Experience—5+ years in HRIS, people analytics, or a hybrid systems/data role; hands‑on experience with Workday required; hands‑on experience with ADP strongly preferred; Power BI experience strongly preferred; experience in environments with multiple HR systems or payroll integrations highly desirable; demonstrated ability to build reports, dashboards, and/or analytics solutions. Technical Skills—Strong proficiency with Workday reporting (e.g., dashboards, composite reports), advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) strongly preferred; familiarity with data querying (e.g., SQL) or willingness to learn; understanding of data reconciliation and cross-system validation practices. Core Competencies—Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage complexity across multiple systems and data sources; business acumen with understanding of HR, payroll, and workforce processes; excellent communication and data storytelling skills; collaborative, with a focus on enabling and developing others. Physical Demands and Work Environment—Ability to use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through telephone, email, video conference, and face‑to‑face contact; ability to use manual dexterity, visual acuity, and hearing acuity to effectively use and operate office equipment such as computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard, and mouse; ability to sit for extended periods at a keyboard and workstation; ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Compensation Range: $90,600.00 - $113,300.00. Benefits include: health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, company‑paid life insurance, 401K with discretionary match, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
