Government Training Engineering – Mechanical Design Engineer (Associate or Experienced) at The Boeing Company. The role is located in Hazelwood, MO or Oklahoma City, OK. Design, develop, manufacture, and maintain aircrew and maintenance training devices for military fighter aircraft such as F‑15, F‑22, T‑7, and T‑38. Work with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and document complex electrical training system solutions, including high‑fidelity aircraft crew station simulators, high resolution visual systems, and aircraft representative maintenance trainers. Responsibilities
Analyze system requirements. Translate requirements into detailed part, assembly, and installation drawings. Create documentation to capture system interface definitions. Test and validate hardware to ensure designs meet operational and functional requirements. Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure compliance with integration and quality standards. Resolve problems concerning fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle. Research technology advances for potential application to the company’s business needs. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences. 1+ year of experience in mechanical systems design and analysis. 1+ year of experience supporting cross‑functional or cross‑organizational engineering and/or test teams. Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of higher education and/or related work experience. Experience working within an agile development team. Experience with Siemens NX modeling software or similar design tools. Experience with aviation hardware, particularly crew systems components. Experience with data analysis of system data. Experience with test‑driven development. Pay & Benefits
Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Pay ranges: Associate: $79,050 – $115,000 Experienced: $96,050 – $140,300 Security & Compliance
